Civilization is Too Technical & Complicated for ANC as Residents Are Charged for Air in Water Pipes!

Socialist Elitism in South Africa has finally achieved its aim of charging people for air, literally! Residents of Vanderbijlpark & Emfuleni are paying exorbitant bills for air coming through the water pipes, instead of water. All this because the minority are excluded from managing their own affairs, utilities and resources, so they are at the mercy of the incompetence, standards and values of the parasitic ANC and its self serving cadres & supporters.

Residents of Vanderbijlpark can expect huge water bills at the end of the month, even though in many cases water does not even come out of the pipes because there are frequent water outages in the area, and parts of the town are currently without water.

Court deals Soweto residents who wants to pay a flat tarrif of R150 a month for electricity a blow by striking case off the roll

Soweto owes R20bn to power provider Eskom, but residents of the township only want to pay R150 a month for their power. Mpho Sesedinyane, ANC councilor and chair of the South African National Civic Organization (Sanco) in Soweto, feels that R150 is a fair amount and that, given the state of the economy, the residents can only afford to pay this much a month for power.

However, Eskom rejected the proposal of a fixed power tariff of R150 per month for electricity. Eskom spokesperson Reneilwe Semenya said this proposal by community leaders in Soweto was unrealistic and residents had to pay for what they consumed. He also referred to the Johannesburg High Court which on Tuesday rejected an application to restore power supply to Soweto and allow residents to pay a flat rate for power.

R100 – that’s how much Soweto residents want to pay Eskom for electricity each month

The township is said to owe Eskom R18 billion in unpaid electricity bills.

This week, Lungelo Lethu Human Rights Foundation (LLHRF) is finishing up court papers in a bid to haul Eskom to the South Gauteng High Court over electricity disconnections.

LLHRF’s president King Sibiya said they want an interim court order forcing Eskom to restore electricity to about 250 households.

Sibiya said they also want to force Eskom to get into negotiations with residents over the next 18 to 24 months to discuss a flat rate of R100 for energy consumption. “There are currently about 250 houses without electricity. While the whole area owes Eskom, we think the ones whose electricity has been switched off is more urgent.

“We want to kill the culture of non-payment in Soweto. We can’t divorce ourselves from Eskom. A R100 flat rate from those who haven’t been paying is better than nothing.”

SA is collapsing and the bad conditions will put residents at the same level as Zimbabwe’s people

Political analysts say that conditions in South Africa are now deteriorating by the day, and the bad conditions are now putting residents at the same level as in Zimbabwe.

The police service that has lost thousands of rounds of ammunition without any action being taken against the culprits indicates the dire security situation that prevails.

The country’s Defense Force was evaluated by experts about two years ago and it was found that its hitting power is now no better than it was in the 1930s when the the Air Force had more pilots than are currently employed after the best ones have already left the country.

Just in Africa! Used coffins found at residential home during drug raid – wonder what happened to the corpses?

Residents of Orange Grove, Johannesburg, were stunned when they discovered coffins hidden in a house on Sunday morning. The group of residents raided a house that they suspected was being occupied by a drug dealer at about 7am.

“We know houses that have drugs. When we arrived at the gate the people inside did not want to open,” said Nano Nobesule, one of the residents. “We forced ourselves in and we sensed a bad smell. We found a lot of coffins, some with tissues containing blood stains.”

Nobesule added: “Some of the coffins looked new while others had already been used. Some of the coffins had soil [on them].”

The coffins were taken outside by the residents and placed on the street. Police were then called to the scene.

#Blackprivilege: Soweto residents want to pay a flat rate of R100 per month for unlimited electricity – We all do!!

While Eskom is drowning in debt and struggling to make ends meet, Soweto residents say they want their debt written off and to only pay R100 per month for unlimited electricity.

Eskom currently supplies 135,000 Soweto residents with power, but only 12% of these customers pay for electricity.

This non-payment has seen Soweto’s debt to Eskom increase from R3.6 billion in 2014 to its current level of R18 billion.

To alleviate this debt burden, Eskom is threatening to disconnect non-paying customers, remove illegal connections, and move more houses to prepaid electricity.

Soweto residents fighting back
Soweto residents, however, are having none of Eskom’s debt-collection and disconnection plans and are demanding that the power utility writes off their debt.

These residents argue that they cannot afford to pay for electricity, let alone pay off the money they owe to Eskom.

Empty promises leave Free State residents fuming, Mayor’s house burnt down due to frustration on water crisis

Mayor Mamiki Mokoena, of the Nketoana municipality, which includes Reitz, Petrus Steyn, Arlington and Lindley in the Free State, house in Petrus Steyn has been destroyed after angry residents burnt it down to show their anger towards the shortage of water in the areas.

Residents’ anger over the ongoing water crisis has apparently boiled over after no running water has been available for a week. Mokoena allegedly arranged for two tankers to deliver water to her father, Benedict Nakedi, over the weekend for an alleged family gathering. This while the rest of the township’s residents had to cope without water. These actions apparently contributed to the residents’ anger.

SA’s largest township owes Eskom R17 billion – Soweto residents respond: Hell no, we won’t pay for electricity!

City Press visits Soweto and asks residents why they don’t pay for their electricity and how they could help Eskom to recoup the R17 billion owed by the people who live in SA’s largest township.

On Wednesday morning, as load shedding hit the township of 1.3 million residents, small businesses were losing money, and children had been sent home by their teachers, who said they couldn’t teach in a blackout.

While some people City Press spoke to paid their electricity bills and knew that their nonpaying neighbours were contributing to the crisis, others were steadfast in their refusal to pay for the power they used.
